The challenge Voila! Gallery was facing is it had decided it was too reliant on outside online marketplaces like 1stdibs. They had also noticed that they had created so many different items that the store itself was overwhelming. Customers were overlooking items that they would have otherwise loved. The website produced a chance to highlight specific items and tell each of their individual stories.

Working with photographers was an additional challenge. We did not want to take pictures of products in the store, they needed to be on a clean background and bring as much focus to the object itself. To achieve this effect I shot and edited each image myself and found Shopify worked best for Voila!’s needs.
